Workers Day: Access Bank to Lay-off 75 Percent of Workforce

It's the First day of May and all over the world, it marks the World Workers Day. This year's celebration has been marred by the fight against the global pandemic (Covid-19) that has ravaged and paused every activity across the world. The unpredictable nature of the Virus has made it difficult for analyst to predict the curves. Thus businesses are in confusion as to what to expect afterwards. There have also been predictions suggesting that many jobs will be lost when this is over. It is this light that the management of the Access Bank Plc, through the Managing Director, Herbert Wigwe, emphasised the need for a shake up in the staff structure across branches in order for the bank to survive the looming cloud.
