New Year Specials: Fayose Attacks his Haters

The most recent former governor of Ekiti state, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, took to Twitter on Wednesday (New year’s day) to call out ‘haters’ who have not been wishing him well so far. Recall that the former governor is under trial for corruption related offences (during his tenure as governor) by the EFCC. His case has been on hold for a while now after a federal high court in Lagos granted the permission to travel abroad to treat his brief illness.

Pictures of him have been seen during this festive season relaxing and enjoying as against receiving treatment and so people have reacted. But the 59 year old politician, in his New year tweets, reacted to messages from those he claims are his unrepentant enemies ‘politically or otherwise’. He reminds them of his doggedness and that he will remain a pain to them unless they repent in 2020.

The post read:

“Once again, Happy New Year to everyone, particularly my haters politically or otherwise. How far can you go in your machinations? Definitely nowhere😉 …Remember; “He that is blessed of God cannot be cursed.”

I will remain your headache in 2020 if you don’t repent

Being an aspiring pastor, Mr. Fayose did not forget to pray for his well wishers:

“In this year 2020, God will give you victory over every oppression that has inflicted your life with hunger, sufferings and wants. He will take you to the greatest height of success.

“He will return Nigeria to the path of peace, progress and unity.

People have equally reacted under these tweets and muzzammilwrites captured but a few comments. This includes President Muhammadu Buhari’s Personal Assistant on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, who taunted the former governor on Twitter insinuating that he faked the sickness from outset.

Onochie took to her Twitter page to share a video of supposed sick Fayose dancing with a white woman abroad.

She wrote: Its a miracle! Peter is healed! Praise The Lord!

This means he’s no longer in severe pain and we won’t be seeing him on stretchers during his next court appearance or on his way to jail.
